After around two minutes from my post for this day (see below), I received word from the World Pool Championships committee about the next billiards tournament!

It goes:
"Dear Milo
Good news! The 2003 World Pool Masters takes place on 29, 30 and 31 August at the Hotel Zuiderduin at Egmond aan Zee in Holland.
Matchroom Sport have gathered 16 of the finest players in the world to do battle over three days for the $62,000 prize fund.
Confirmed players include Efren Reyes and Francisco Bustamante, Earl Strickland, World Champion Thorsten Hohmann, Steve Davis, defending Masters Champion Ralf Souquet, Alex Pagulayan as well as local heroes Rico Diks, Nick van den Berg, Alex Lely and Niels Feijen.
Tickets for the event are priced at €5 each with generous discounts if you buy into more than one session of play.
