Escape (Fr. A mix)

Here's how it goes
You and me
We're gonna take some History
Yes that's right
You can't fight
'Cause this is something
You will take
You will break
All will end up in crying

Chorus:
If you feel like leaving
I am gonna
Make you stay
Soon you'll be finding
You can run
You can hide
But you can't
Escape my yard
You can run
You can hide
But you can't
Escape my yard

So you should know
If you go
I will make you
Relive the past
So fast
You can dream
Think load rev was
your way out
Do not pout
In the end, rev won't matter.

Chorus

You can run
You can hide
But you can't
Escape my yard
You can run
You can hide
But you can't
Escape my yard

Here's how it goes
All will end up in crying

You can run

* If you feel like leaving
I am gonna
Make you stay
Soon you'll be finding
You can run
You can hide
But you can't
Escape my yard

Repeat *

You can run

(You can run, you can hide But you can't escape my yard)

I need to fix a few words to fit the song, but it's practically finished.

Now, I still have an org website and an simulated ad agency to go through.

Oh Mandy, you're my boo
I will see you in two :)

The Earlpire Strikes Back (again!)

Left are three days
before I can gaze
and see, while in a daze,
Mandy's beautiful face.

A brassy "Yeah!" resounded
inside Burgundy One's billiard hall
Left Migs dumbfounded
as Milo pocketed the final nine ball

Endowed with the glove and the spirit of Earl
Milo played his way to victory.
He used the mighty words of the Pearl
and of course, his billiards ability.

Milo's added one more to his streak
that he kept intact for months now
He lately seems to be at his peak
as he buries Migs with Fong Pang Chao.

Five-two was the final score
Two of them Milo won by a one-nine combination
Will Milo still extend the streak a few games more
or will Migs finally end his domination?

Destined for Greatness

Barrerra's corner stops fight in 11th
written by me!

After sporting a huge cut on his left eyebrow and receiving numerous power shots from Manny Pacquiao, Barrerra's corner, although hesitant, threw in the towel to save their fighter from further beating.

Barrerra seemed to have Pacquiao's number as he managed to keep Pacquiao at bay in the first round. By constantly moving back, the Mexican champion refused to let any Pacquiao's power shots connect. During one exchange, the Filipino got his feet tangled with Barrerra's and lost his footing. The referee saw it as a knockdown even though Manny got up even before the referee started counting.

However, it was all Pacquiao after the first round. Pacquiao's speed dazzled Barrerra in the second as the Filipino landed more punches thrown in different angles. A thunderous left hook sent Barrerra crashing down early in the third.

The Mexican tried to slow the pace down but to no avail as Pacquiao kept on connecting. Barrerra then attempted to match skill against skill as the Mexican went back to the basics. However, Pacquiao seemed to have all the answers to every Barrerra offensive. Barrera accidentally slipped near the end of the sixth.

An accidental headbutt at the start of the seventh stopped the match temporarily as Barrerra garnered a huge cut over his left eyebrow. Even though the Mexican seemed hesistant to continue the match, Barrerra, out of pride, faced Pacquiao once more. The Filipino, sensing a knockout, continued his barrage of punches that stunned Barrerra.

Pacquiao seemed unstoppable. This frustrated the Mexican so much that early in the ninth, Barrerra threw a quick punch at Pacquiao when the referee broke their clinch. The referee then deducted a point away from Barrerra making it almost mathematically impossible for the Mexican to catch up.

Pacquiao scored another knockdown on Barrerra once more despite protests from the Mexican in the eleventh.

I Wanna Be With You...

I try but I can't seem to get myself
To think of anything but you
Your breath on my face
Your warm gentle kiss, I taste the truth
I taste the truth
We know what I came here for
So I won`t ask for more

I wanna be with you
If only for a night
To be the one whose in your arms
Who holds you tight
I wanna be with you
There's nothing more to say
There's nothing else I want more than to feel this way
I wanna be with you

So I`ll hold you tonight
Like I would if you were mine
To hold forever more
And I`ll savor each touch that I wanted
So much to feel before (To feel before)
How beautiful it is
Just to be like this

Oh baby
I can`t fight this feeling anymore
It drives me crazy when I try to
So call my name [milo!!!!!!]
Take my hand
Make my wish [i wanna be with you]
Baby, your command?

Wish granted.

Gotta catch them all!

I want to be the very best like no one ever was. To catch them is my real test...

OK, cut the Pokemon theme song.

Seeing that tomorrow is the start of a same old brand new school year, it's time once again to start catching those elusive things!

Pokemon # 144 : Mandy Moore's concert
Description: Two concerts in the Philippines. One in Araneta Coliseum with a cost. One (MTV Summit) in the Fort for free. Assured to be a talked-about event.
Milo's say: Since's she's coming here, I wish my schedules would work out the way I planned. That way, I could get the tickets/passes already.

Pokemon # 444 : DL 1st honors
Description: A very rare pokemon, caught only by the smartest of Pokemon masters.
Milo's Say: I caught its little brother, DL 2nd honors two sems ago. That's too long ago. And besides, I want to get one of its legendary big brothers during graduation: Honorable Mention, Cum Laude, Magna, & Suma Cum Laude. I only have 2.95 Skill Points (down from 3.00) in my Pokedex. By catching this Pokemon, it increases my chances of catching one of the legendary Pokemon. And if I get 4 skill points this sem (I hope), it automatically puts me in contention to catch a legendary Pokemon with 3.48.

Pokemon # 911: Get a litwork out
Description: Any author would love this.
Milo's Say: So I missed three chances last sem. But this time, things will be different. I hope.

That's all I can think of for now. I'm kind of wary of catching Pokemon #143: My Valentine (For Feb 14.) yet, but who knows. It sort of jumps into your arms to be caught.

Tekki

I want two revolutionary games for my PS2. However, they are difficult to find in the Philippines since they include hardware. If anyone gives me one for Christmas, I will be extremely grateful. :)

1. Eye Toy: Play (and in the future, Groove) - A webcam attachment bundled with 12 games. Instead of using a joypad to control the games, you use your own body! The camera includes you in the game and you can participate real-time. One game included is a boxing game where you box in real-life, and you see yourself box your opponent in the game.

2. Karaoke Revolution - From the makers of Dance Dance Revolution, you get an earphone/mic attachment with this game. You choose your alter-ego in the game, pick a song from the songs (like Avril's Complicated and Michael's Billie Jean) in the list, and sing real-time. Unlike the arcade karaoke machine where you have to sing loud to get a high score, this game grades you on how well you sing - how good you match the pitch of the song with your voice. A great party game for family and friends!

---

Speaking of games, I just remembered about Tekken 4. Joe wants escape moves for King's Multigrab. Tekken 4 has made it easy for players to reverse King's throws - mostly just pressing Left Punch (LP) and Right Punch (RP). There are 6 different kinds of King Multigrabs so I'll just list the one that people usually use.

King's multigrab starts with either:
  • Reverse Arm Drag Take Down - (has two versions, use LP or RP depending on which version)
  • Gory Guerrero Special - (Tap RP then LP+RP - only 2nd version)

    Follows with either:
  • Backdrop - (LP or RP depending on what Reverse Arm Drag Take Down opponent uses)
  • Cannonball - (RP only after Backdrop)

    After Backdrop, opponent uses either
  • Cannonball - See above for escape
  • German Suplex - (LP now, escape is impossible next step)

    After German Suplex:
  • Powerbomb - (no escape)

    Remember Cannonball? After that:
  • Powerbomb - (Press LP)
  • Inverted Atomic Drop - (RP)

    After Inverted Atomic Drop:
  • Sit-down Powerbomb - No escape

And King always ends any multigrab (after Powerbomb/Sit-down Powerbomb) with either:
  • Giant Swing - (Press LP)
  • Muscle Buster - (Press RP)

If you don't understand anything I said earlier, just play around with LP and/or RP. The end.

So tell Joe I posted this in my blog.

10 things I learned last Friday

    1. OPPOSING ENTITIES REPEL - Dark or light side. The rule of magnetism doesn't (usually) apply to humans. I look at them with a smile, they turn their heads away as if they didn't see me. I pity them.

    2. THERE IS ALWAYS ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT - Even though I still like the first-come, first-served stub method, the random number procedure for registration was quite efficient compared to the previous years they've enforced it. Random number is a good system perhaps, but IMPLEMENTATION killed it back then. I still remember the time when it was still number 95 in the Humanities school (after three hours), whileas the other schools were already in the 200's. Plus, all those lost majors I should've had. Now, if we could just do something about those election registration procedures...

    3. WOMEN ARE CHARMERS AND MAGICIANS - When they start looking at you with their puppy eyes (and even acting like a puppy) and flash their smiles, it is just difficult to say no. Say, for instance, Jen asking me to go with her to YOF. She also made sure that I won't have any escape route by conjuring up anything against every excuse I had. (Don't worry, I wanted to go anyway. It's always the transpo problem that plagues me.)

    4. LAUGHTER IS A GREAT ICEBREAKER - Ok, so I said yes to Jen. However, we needed to wait for her ride to bring us to Galleria. What to do? Laughtrip! Pageants, Michael Jackson, old Erap Jokes and more which brings me to...

    5. THE PAST WILL COME BACK TO HAUNT YOU - Never tell anyone (especially girls) something silly or stupid even for a joke (like wearing a corset to hide your flab). It will come back to haunt you over and over.

    6. WHEN YOU LIKE SOMETHING/SOMEONE, IT WILL REMIND YOU OF ITS PRESENCE - I was wearing my Penshoppe shirt that day. Probably, it invoked Mandy Moore to follow me on different radios in different places that day as if saying that I must go to her concert either or both on the 20th/21th. Can We Still Be Friends, Have A Little Faith in Me and Cry were running through my head after those times.

    7. THERE IS ALWAYS A LIMIT TO EVERYTHING - My stomach must've gone small. I can't finish a rice meal, a medium cup of iced tea and two slices of pizza (double size) from Greenwich. I don't like to waste food, but I just can't finish that last slice of pizza.

    8. YOU WILL NEVER KNOW EVERYTHING, BUT IT MUSTN'T STOP YOU FROM LEARNING NEW THINGS - YOF started, and I didn't have any clue what to expect or do. Just go with the flow. I told Jen that it wasn't my cup of tea, but it's probably due to my greenness in that field of born again service. Fine Arts student here, willing to experience anything.

    9. IT'S A SMALL WORLD - To go home, I hitched a ride with Colynn. We lived in the same village, just near my street. Along the way, I found out that she too was a COSA member, and that Ting shared the same abhorrence I had towards that certain someone who was my VP back then in COSA. Ting knew Lester, my current VP. Apparently, Lester recommended someone to her to make the JAAP webpage, whom Ting says was me (I never knew that).

    10. YOU ALWAYS HAVE FRIENDS WHO CARE FOR YOU - The next day, Jen texted me: "hey miloü i just hope sumday ul xperience wat i xperiencd.dats my bgest wish dat people i care abt wud cm 2 c d beauty He has 4 dmü thank u 4 cming my frendü" She's so sweet. Jen, if you can read this, thanks to you and for the experience. I also want to thank Mia, Pau, Colynn, Joe, and all the new friends I met that day.

Gonna watch Eternity: A Chinese Ghost Story today...

    Coverage

I just bought two Music CD's off the rack today: The Day You Went Away: M2M's greatest hits (sniff), and Coverage by Mandy Moore.

M2M was such a great duo. I can't believe their second album (third, if you count their children's album they released in Norway when they were little) was their last album. Listening to their songs again (plus new tracks [probably for their third album]) brought back memories of following them around, going to Megamall and their concert at the World Trade Center (2 years ago) just to see and hopefully, meet & get photos with them.

I was a bit disappointed with Mandy Moore's album at first because she opted to cover songs instead of singing/creating some new ones. However, after listening to all her covers, I loved Coverage. I even have polyphonic ringtones of her Coverage songs in my cellphone right now.

Now, the big question is: SHALL I GO TO THE MTV MUSIC SUMMIT AND WATCH MANDY MOORE LIVE? And, it's for a cause. Ditch F2. No Ken or Rainie.

PS2: I now have NBA 2K4 and Live. Which one do I like best? 2K4! It's like buying two games in one with better graphics and realistic gameplay. Live is good with the dribbles and all, but who manages to block 20+ shots per game using only one player? And it's too easy. I always finish the game leading by 70-100+ points.

I got a very touching Friendster message from Bea. *secret* Bea, you're the best!

I have been having these weird dreams lately. Just last night, I dreamed I was Sagat in some Street Fighter movie or something. Guess your mind works in strangest ways when in semestral breaks.

And speaking of sembreaks, why doesn't it feel like a sembreak? Why do I still have work at hand?

Note to self: Do better this 2nd sem. I dread to see tomorrow's grades.
