The fireworks and the atmosphere were great. The traffic going and returning, terrible. We left there around 10pm, and got home past 2am.
I took a lot of photographs of the final exhibition day, so watch out for this post, as I will upload some of them real soon.

The Eye (Part two)
Well, I've been diagnosed with a mild case of corneal ulcer. I hope it will be cured in the fastest possible time. (a week) Hopefully, it doesn't get worse.

The Eye
My right eye stings, it's red, and I saw a small white spot on my iris.
I hope it isn't anything bad, hopefully not anything like a case of corneal ulcer (because I have all the symptoms). I went to three different clinics/hospitals yesterday, but their respective opthamologists weren't around.
I'll probably leave early for lunch tomorrow and have this treated ASAP. Pray for me.

The ACLC Invasion IV
We were invaded by the ACLC carolers once again, marking their fourth straight year they've sung in our house. This also marks the last year my sister, Sel, will be singing with them as she will be graduating.
But, my other sister has sung with them this year, and will be singing for three more years. 7 years of ACLC caroling... graduate na iyan ng grade school :)

I could add another B in sports that I play
Yes, I couldn't hit anything for the first hour. But after that, I was smashing, dropping shots and returning almost everything like I played a thousand times before.
My batchmates here in Accenture wanted another reunion, and they chose to play badminton this time on a weekend. Sadly, only a few people came unlike the last time where we had dinner in Max's in Glorietta 2.
It was my first time to hold a badminton racket, well, in a real game at least. During the first hour, I didn't even know what the rules of badminton are, more so what the stances are, the proper way to serve and anything. I never found badminton to be interesting before until now.
At first, we were only three, so we played two against one. Guess the fastest way I could learn a sport is to play against better athletes just like table tennis during second year college.
After those trial and errors in fixing my stance, the way I hold the racket and timing, could you say "Most Improved?" We played two and a half hours of badminton competitively, and each set went as close as it could be except for the last one when fatigue started to set in.
Maybe, I could compete in badminton in the next project competition here. I'm not even sure if I want to compete in basketball here anymore since I got benched most of the time. How could you show what you can do when you play only five minutes? I want to smack them with my gold medal in IAC. At least we got second place.
We played an hour of billiards afterwards, and ate lunch at Mr. Choi's in Robinson's Pioneer. We plan to make this badminton a monthly thing, so that's something to look forward to.
Sports (in order of learning): Basketball, Bowling, Tennis, Billiards, Table Tennis, Badminton. [not yet at SEA games level though]

A few updates
Wow, it's been quite a while since I've updated this blog. I've been very busy with work nowadays. I miss my academic freedom.
So what's up with me?
1. My team lost on the finals in basketball here in our project in Accenture. The other team was more superior "athletically" and we couldn't stop their plays. In addition, we also beat ourselves. We had several unforced turnovers, and we seemingly couldn't hit for shit© anywhere. The ball just wasn't rolling inside the basket.
2. Shucks, because the basketball lasted past 11 pm, I decided not to go to my team's Christmas party in Redbox Greenbelt 3 even if I gave my word that I'll catch up. I calculated that I wouldn't reach there in time to do anything, and the party was scheduled only up to 12 midnight. Oh well.
3. I couldn't say that I love my work thoroughly, but it has grown on me. I thought a fine arts student couldn't compete here in the corporate world, but this company really does a splendid job in taking care of their employees. The people around here are very nice, and we even have our own respective career counselors. Sure there are a lot of times I log in overtime hours, but all the positives seem to outweigh the negatives for now.
4. It was nice meeting my high school classmates last November 19, 2005 again. The J bond never dies. Most of us looked the same while others had new haircuts and body structures (Grabe, si Andrei, payat na!)
5. I'm planning to see the WWE Live RAW tour here in Manila on February. If you want to tag along, let's get those tickets already and enjoy the show with John Cena and company.
6. I'm redesigning this blog over Christmas, and hopefully, I'll update more frequently come next year.
