Pacquiao vs Morales (RESULTS)

It's not yet shown here in the Philippines so if you don't want to know the answers, stop reading at this point.

PACQUIAO (39-2-2, 31KOs) VS. MORALES (47-2, 34KOs)

Round One

They start off feeling each other out with jabs. Pacquiao comes forward and blast away at Morales! Then Morales comes forth and blasts out at Pacquiao! The action is hot as the round wears down. Very quick exchanges. Pacquiao targets the body and pushes Morales back with it. Pac takes the round 10-9.

Round Two

Morales is hitting him, but Pacquiao keeps extending his arms saying he is not hurt. Morales is backing him up here and attacking. Pac is trying to avoid the power shots. Both are really lunging at each other to try and land the big shot. Another good action round, but Morales takes this one 10-9 to even it at 19 a piece.

Round Three

Pacquiao targets the body here in round three. An overhand right seems to stun Pacquiao, but he keeps moving forward on him here. Morales is looking for spots and taking advantage each time he sees an opening. He is fighting with his head now. Good round for Morales. He wins it 10-9 and takes a 29-28 lead.

Round Four

Great power exchanges. Both are taking them well. Morales looks to be in charge though. Pac is intent on trying to avoid Morales' power punches. He seems to be ok even though he is taking some shots from Morales. Erik gets this 10-9 and is up 39-37.

Round Five

Pacquiao comes at him this round. Morales is again looking for spots, but Pacquiao is giving him less of them. They go at it and exchange great punches in the middle of the ring. Pacquiao takes a cut above the right eye. The ref says it is from a punch. The doctor takes his time with checking it out. The action resumes. Pacquiao seems distracted by the cut. Morales is still picking his spots with nice counters. It is a close round, but Morales gets it here again 10-9 and leads 49-46.

Round Six

The pace slows in round 6. Pacquiao lands some good shots. Morales may be resting this round. Pac puts on the pressure and takes the round 10-9. He is now down 58-56 on this card.

Pacquiao controls the opening of the round. Then he comes forward and lands nice crisp shots. Morales doesn't seem hurt. Morales wobbles Pac. But, Pac still comes forward. He gets wobbled again. Still Pacquiao comes at him landing power shots. Pacquiao seems more hurt, but he is still able to take the round 10-9. He is still down now, but it is close at 67-66.

Round Eight

A slow round picks up in the final minute. Morales hits him with some hard punches. Pacquiao looks hurt and possibly tired. Then Pac comes at him and land a number of good strong shots. It is a close round that goes to Pac this time 10-9. It is even here at 76 each.

Round Nine

Slow start again. Then in the final minute a right wobbles Morales. He looks hurt. But he comes forward at Pacquiao. He won't stop. They both go all out at the end of the round. Pacquiao takes the round 10-9 here and now leads 86-85.

Round Ten

They box for the first half of the round before they begin brawling again. Morales hits him with a right that stuns him. Pacquiao comes at him regardless. Morales pounds back at him. Both men look tired, but there is no quit in either of man. Morales takes it 10-9 and evens it at 95-95.

Round Eleven

As Pacquiao's right eye swells up, Morales pounds away with the jab. He controls most of the round with it. Pacquiao flurries at times, but he is falling behind Morales now. A 10-9 round gives Morales a 105-104 lead.

Round Twelve

Pacquiao is outboxing him, but switches southpaw and Morales nails him with a right that staggers him. Pacquiao goes at him. All of a sudden Morales is hurt. Pac keeps throwing the hard shots. Morales takes them and won't go down. Pacquiao pounds away. It gets to the final bell. It's a Pacquiao round and on this card it is a 114-114 draw!

The judges scores are coming ...

They all have it the same at 115-113. The winner is Erik Morales!
